CHALK ESPRESSIONISM

After many years of working with many different children, I have been able to grasp the fascination that chalk exerts on the collective unconscious of children.
Place a piece of chalk in a child's hand and he will quickly find a place to scratch, even if he has never had this contact before.
This happens because of the archive present in our DNA, coming from our most ancient ancestors, who used charcoal and clay to engrave in caves, recording their avant-garde emotions in figurative form, long before it was called art.
The ability to draw shapes is undoubtedly one of the oldest skills transmitted by humanity.
Primitive men believed that when they drew an animal, its soul was captured in the drawing.
The work I do is based on the gaze of the observer and the observation of the observed.
